Ebonee is from Cleveland, Ohio and started out as a competitive gymnast and figure skater. In 2006 she discovered her true passion for dance and blew everyone away with her talents!
As a performing artist and dancer, Ebonee has appeared in several music videos, commercials and performances including The Billboard Music Awards 2012 dance routines with Nicki Minaj, opening dances for Snoop Dogg and YG at the Universal Amphitheatre, and performing at the Disneyland Electronica with the We Are Heroes crew.
In addition to being a great dancer and performer, Ebonee is also an extraordinary hip-hop dance instructor and choreographer. She truly understands her students’ thought processes and is able to choreograph and teach hip-hop dance moves tailored to specific age groups. Her choreography is tasteful and is easily understandable by a child as young as five. Her teen class students adore her because of her dedication and exciting choreography routines.
“I have been teaching nearly every day for the past nine years and these days have truly been the best years of my life,” Ebonee says. Having taught at numerous schools, including The LA School of Gymnastics, Santa Monica College, UCLA Dance Teams, and Beverly Hills Ballroom Dance Studio, she has won numerous awards and scholarships in dance, choreography and coaching. Her most prestigious award includes the “American Dance Festival Scholarship,” where she trained and performed at Duke University.
