Our Policies

Our-Policies

Payment Policy:

When attending any classes at Beverly Hills Ballroom, a complete debit/credit card authorization form is required. The debit/credit card information provided is then kept on file for monthly auto payments. In order to keep the system organized, if you decide to pay on a monthly basis, payments will be automatically deducted from your debit/credit card.

Your card will be automatically charged on the 1st of each month. The 3% service fee will be waived. It is your full responsibility to keep our administration up-to-date with any card changes to avoid late fees.

If you prefer to pay by check or cash, you may do so before the 1st of the month and your card will not be charged. If your payment is not received by the 1st, your card will be automatically deducted. All lessons must be paid for on the day of service.

Commitment Policy:

The kids will be gradually working on a few performances they will showcase at our Spring Recital. If you choose to participate in the recital, you are signing up for a full season of classes. We encourage students to attend the same class throughout the year, so that your child will be fully prepared for the performance. You may try various classes before you commit, in order to find your best fit. We offer various payment options including a discount to those who sign up for the entire session.

Group Class Payments –

We have the following options available for group class payments:

  • One-time payment in full for the whole session. (If you choose this option a 10% discount is given. Sibling discount available as well.)
  • Two-time payment for the whole session (5% discount is applied with this option).
  • Monthly payment plan

If you choose to be on a monthly payment plan, your payment will be due by the 1st of the month. If you want to pay by cash or check it is your responsibility to bring payment to the studio by the 1st of the month. Otherwise the credit card on file will be automatically charged on the 1st. A complete credit card authorization form is required for all students.

Group Class Attendance –

We hope you don’t miss any group classes but of course we realize that things can come up. Please do not come to class if you are sick. You can make up a missed class by coming to another class that is the same level as the one you are registered for in the same month. Make-ups do not carry over to following month, year, or dance session.

Dress Code Policy –

Dress code is strongly enforced to provide the best learning environment. Students in Ballroom classes are required to purchase a uniform and dance shoes that must be purchased from our store in studio. Hair should be neat and away from face. For girls a bun, ponytail or braid is recommended. Students in Hip Hop classes should wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes only. No sandals allowed.

Private Lessons –

Many students who attend BHB take private lessons in addition to group lessons. If you are interested in booking a private lesson, please let us know. You have the option of paying per class as you go, or purchasing a package of 10 lessons. Once a package is selected, you can choose a standing lesson time and continue keeping that time slot as long as needed.

Private Lessons Cancellation Policy –

Our cancellation policy for private lessons is 24 hours prior to your scheduled lesson. We realize that things can come up last minute, but please try to cancel your lesson at least 24 hours in advance if you must do so. If a lesson is for a couple, and one person is sick, we strongly recommend that the other partner attends the lesson. If your lesson is cancelled within 24 hours your package will still be charged.
